From the high passes of the Himalayas to the banks of the Indus, this once-in-a-lifetime adventure takes you through some of the most breathtaking roads and landscapes on Earth.
We start in Leh, easing in with an acclimatization ride before tackling legendary routes like Khardung La at 17,830 feet, the surreal blues of Pangong Lake, and the remote heights of Umling La. Ride through the Indus Valley, discover quiet mountain villages, and overnight in places where the stars feel within reach.
This is more than a tour, it’s a journey through the heart of the Himalayas, one unforgettable mile at a time.

JUNE 7 - MONDAY
ARRIVAL IN LEH
Riders fly into Leh and check into the hotel. Take the rest of the day to rest, adjust to the altitude, and soak in the crisp Himalayan air. In the evening, take a short walk to Leh Market and explore the local shops and surroundings.
JUNE 8 - TUESDAY
ACCLIMATIZATION RIDE
50km
A relaxed warm-up ride around Leh, visiting local monasteries and scenic viewpoints. Back at the hotel by 4 PM to rest for the days ahead.

JUNE 9 - WEDNESDAY
LEH TO KHARDUNG LA TO NUBRA VALLEY
170km
We kick off early at 6AM to take on Khardung La, one of the highest motorable passes in the world at 17,830 ft. From there, we descend into the vast Nubra Valley and stay overnight at 11,000 ft. In the evening, you can opt for a camel ride on the sand dunes of Hunder before winding down for the night.

JUNE 10 - THURSDAY
NUBRA TO PANGONG LAKE TO MERAK
190km
Today’s ride is 190 km of pure bliss, from smooth asphalt roads to riverbeds and water crossings, leading us to one of the most beautiful high-altitude lakes in the Himalayas, Pangong Lake, famous for its shifting blue hues. We stay overnight in the remote village of Merak at 15,000 feet, right by the lake’s edge.

JUNE 11 - FRIDAY
MERAK TO HANLE
130km
Today we leave the shores of Pangong Lake and head deeper into the remote side of Ladakh, riding from Merak to Hanle. The route takes us through the rugged landscapes around Chushul and along quiet, rarely traveled mountain roads before reaching Hanle, a remote village near the India-China border. Beautiful tarmac roads and incredible scenery all the way to Hanle, where we settle in for the night.
Day 5
JUNE 12 - SATURDAY
HANLE TO UMLING LA TO HANLE
250km
Big day today! We’re aiming for Umling La Pass, the highest motorable road in the world at 19,024 feet, even higher than Everest Base Camp. We’ll ride through rugged terrain and negotiate winding mountain roads to reach the highest motorable pass in the world. We return to our base in the afternoon and spend the night in Hanle.

JUNE 13 - SUNDAY
HANLE TO NYOMA
90km
Today we leave Hanle and ride towards Nyoma, following the remote roads through the vast landscapes of eastern Ladakh. The route takes us through wide open valleys, rugged mountains and quiet villages, with very little traffic along the way. It’s another beautiful day of riding through some of the most remote parts of the Himalayas before reaching Nyoma for the night.
Day 7
JUNE 14 - MONDAY
NYOMA TO LEH
180km
Today we make our way back to Leh, riding roughly 180 km through the wide open landscapes of Ladakh. The route follows the Indus through remote valleys and mountain roads, passing through Chumathang and Upshi before gradually returning to the familiar surroundings of Leh.
After several days deep in eastern Ladakh, it’s a chance to slow down, take in the changing scenery, and enjoy the ride back to town.
Day 8
JUNE 15 - TUESDAY
LEH TO DELHI
We say goodbye to the Himalayas with a morning flight from Leh to Delhi.
For Himalayas Ride-only riders:
After arriving in Delhi, you can take a night flight out of Delhi and continue your journey home that evening.
For riders joining the Taj Mahal:
Upon arrival in Delhi, we’ll enjoy a short Delhi tour before checking in at our hotel. The following day, we’ll travel by private vehicle to Agra, approximately 250 km away, for an overnight stay near the Taj Mahal.
Day 9
JUNE 16 - WEDNESDAY
DELHI TO AGRA
250km
We leave Delhi and travel by private vehicle to Agra, a journey of around 250 km. Along the way, we’ll visit Mehtab Bagh for views across the Yamuna toward the Taj Mahal, followed by a visit to the historic Agra Fort. After exploring the city, we’ll check in at our hotel and settle in for the night.
Day 10
JUNE 17 - THURSDAY
TAJ MAHAL
RETURN TO DELHI
We’ll start the day with an early morning visit to the Taj Mahal, arriving in time to experience it at sunrise. After the visit, we’ll return to the hotel for breakfast and check out by noon. Enjoy lunch before we make our way to the airport, with drop-off scheduled by
6 PM for your flight home.
